LOVE IS THE STRONGEST FORCE IN THE WORLD

A rich lady found a little orphan girl in the street and took her home with her to be a playmate for her own three small daughters. When she arrived home, the little orphan girl would not go in, but sat down to cry. The mother told her daughters there was only one secret to win the orphan over. The oldest daughter got her newest doll and brought it to the girl. The second daughter brought her new toy stove, but the little orphan girl just kept crying. Finally, the youngest daughter, with nothing in her hands, ran to the little girl and sat down beside her. She put her hands on the girl’s shoulders and hugged her and started crying with her, showing her love for her. The little orphan girl immediately stopped crying, went inside the house, and started responding to the rest of the family. So, they all discovered that the secret to winning others is through love.

To truly love and to be truly loved is certainly to be favored in Heaven. All good things that this world contains are not worthy to be traded for the love of a sincere heart. 1 Cor. 13: 1-3 “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging symbol. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, it profits me nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.”

This is how the love of God is towards us. Deut. 10:18 “He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing.” Matthew 22:39 “… you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love is a profound commitment, it helps others. A person’s love is shown by the passionate form in which it is given and is reflected by its actions and motives. The love of God is merciful. Jeremiah 31:3 “The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, with loving kindness I have drawn you.’” Because of this love and mercy, God sent His only son to this world to die for our sins. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Prayer: Today I come to you, Lord Jesus. I need you in my life. Fill my heart with love for you. Baptize my heart with love. I recognize that I am a sinner, and that I have failed you. I believe Jesus Christ died for me and that His precious blood cleanses me of all sin. By faith I receive you in my heart as Lord and Savior of my life. I ask you to write my name in the book of life. I thank you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Purge me with hissop, and I shall be clean; wash me and I shall be whiter than snow. Psalm 51:7. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10. For on that day the priest shall make atonement for you, to cleans you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord. Leviticus 16: 30. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.” John 15:3 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,” 1Peter 1: 22 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. 2Thes 2:16.
